7. General Wukong
Arguably the worst Wukong skin in the game is General Wukong. It comes with no new animations or sound effects. It simply dresses him in the general armor. There are small signs of fire on his staff and his shoulder but that’s pretty much it. It costs 750 RP but is worth much less than that.

6. Jade Dragon Wukong
In the splash art, Wukong appears content and collected. But he carries a powerful curse of jade dragon making his eyes green. He wears lime armor next to gloves decorated with dragon skulls. It costs 975 and also has new sound effects.
5. Volcanic Wukong – Best Budget Skin
Alongside General, Volcanic skin was released on the same day that Wukong himself was released. As such, it’s very old and has no new animations. On top of that, there are no updated sound effects. On the other hand, our favorite monkey is on fire and it looks awesome. He wears a rather revealing armor that showcases most of his body. He’s completely red with traces of fire coming out of his hands and head.
4. Radiant Wukong
Now that we cleared old and bad Wukong skins it’s time for his good ones. Starting with Radiant skin Riot started investing more time and effort into monkey’s skins. His hair and chi are of golden color with some variations. Although his splash art seems rather poor and doesn’t capture him well, he looks amazing in-game.
Furthermore, there is a voice filter on the skin making him sound different as well as some additional quotes which are not included in the original skin. Additionally, the skin comes with new animations and sound effects.
3. Battle Academia Wukong
The latest Wukong skin has been frankly a disappointment. It doesn’t capture his strengths and looks clunky in-game. The skin follows a high school theme in which Wukong has failed out of every school except the current one. It might even be hard to notice that the champion in the splash art is him.
He looks more like a human than a monkey. He wears high school clothes with huge gloves. For the price of 1350 RP, it’s definitely an underwhelming skin. On the bright side, it has unique animations that some players might enjoy. After his W clone disappears an emote pops above it. While he has home guard speed active he rides his hoverboard until it expires or he enters combat. Lastly, you can purchase additional chromas if you want to make your high-schooler look different.

2. Underworld Wukong
The 2 best Wukong skins are as evenly matched as you can imagine. It took a lot of debating to decide on their rankings and this is the final list. For the price of 1350, you get a skin that should be priced at least 1820 RP. His body is green while his hair is blue. That is because Death saw unlimited potential in him and pulled him down to the underworld.
The skin has a new voice filter and additional quotes. Furthermore, it has new animations. While his Q is active his staff lights up with green color on both sides. During his recall, he whirls his staff creating a tornado around him before returning to the base. The splash art is the best of any skin and shows his true strength. The only disadvantage we found with this is that it’s not available all the time. Just like the other legacy skins, there is a short period when you can buy him. Otherwise, you’ll have to try to get him out of Masterwork and other chests.
1. Lancer Stratus Wukong – Best Overall
The best Wukong skin is Lancer Stratus Wukong. He’s an ancient unit that arises only in times of great danger. We can see how huge he is in his splash art. He appears as big as a mountain. He’s not himself though. He’s completely mechanized which can be seen by the blue details around his body, primarily on his hands.
He wears white and yellow armor representing the good side. When Wukong auto-attack the enemies there is a splash of blue color making them look cool. His ultimate ability Cyclone is blue. During the recall animation, he calls onto heaven to take him back and his staff takes him there. Lastly, it has a voice filter and additional quotes. Lancer Stratus costs 1350 RP and is available in the store anytime.
