9. Striker Lucian
Back in 2014, Riot released a special skin line to celebrate the soccer World Cup in Brazil. Alongside Maokai, Gragas, and others Lucian got his first skin with that event. Striker Lucian simply changes Lucian’s outfit to a jersey kit and doesn’t update his spells whatsoever. There was a lot of controversy and accusations that the skin was based on a soccer player Edgar Davis. Later on, Davis would go on to win a lawsuit against Riot and get % of the revenue that the skin generated.

With every release, each champion gets one skin next to their name. Hired Gun Lucian was the one Lucian got. It is almost 8 years old and he’s still above two other Lucian skins. The skin gives a unique vibe to the champion, combined with slick animations and new sound effects. For the age it has under its belt, it is a decent skin.

Another in line of basic Lucian skins. Heartseeker Lucian doesn’t bring anything new to the game. On the contrary, it is very similar to Striker Lucian, a skin 3 years older than it. The only difference between them is that Heartseeker Lucian has updated animations. When playing with it, I didn’t get the right feeling of the champion. Although it has a very pleasant recall animation, I wouldn’t recommend getting it. Skin definitely had a lot of potential, but it ended up being a quick cash grab for Riot.

5. Demacia Vice Lucian

It features Lucian as a half-man, half-machine detective fighting off crime in Demacia. New animations are polished and pleasant to the eye. His E receives a totally new look and it’s topped off with another great recall.

4. Project Lucian
We had to go back to 2015 to bring this skin up. Project Lucian is one of the most popular skins of all time, and it’s no surprise considering what it brings to the table. Unlike Demacia Vice Lucian, it has that “wow” factor when you’re playing him. Animations are nothing special, but an updated voice filter makes up for that. Sadly, the rest of the skin is outdated when compared to modern skins.

The bronze reward for third place goes to Pulsefire Lucian. Chrono-enforcer protects the world against time travelers and he looks amazing while doing so! Pulsefire Lucian is a nice change to Lucian’s dark theme. Updated animations and sound effects are expected of any modern-day skin and it doesn’t fail to deliver.

2. High Noon Lucian
We can comfortably say that High Noon Lucian was what changed the direction of Lucian skins. It completely blew the competition out of the water. Lucian is dressed in a futuristic cowboy outfit while hunting for his enemies. Until recently it had the best animation effects of any skin. Alongside updated sound effects are new voice and updated voice lines. It was a hard decision putting him second, but the number 1 is just a tad better.

1. Arcana Lucian
Arcana Lucian is the best Lucian skin in the game. It is the most recent Lucian skin and it’s absolutely spectacular. When giving it a try I was completely blown away by its animations. His outfit is a bit underwhelming, but the guns are amazing. His Q animation is a bit faster and W hitbox slightly a bit bigger than on other skins which will give you an advantage in-game. I personally loved High Noon Lucian, but this skin is just a step above him cosmetics wise and is also cheaper.
