8. Koi Nami
We start off our list with Nami’s oldest skin, Koi. It was released in 2012, the same day as the champion. Koi features new animations and voice effects. Splash art places her in a beautiful waterfall environment. One wonders if there is any better place than that for a siren. Scales on the skin are red colored. Her hair is moving in the wind, but she doesn’t seem bothered by it indicating that she’s enjoying her time.
7. Urf The Nami-tee
Part of an April Fool’s joke, Nami received a skin called Urf The Nami-tee. It dresses her in particularly bland colors. Looking at her one would imagine she is very old. If the splash art and her clothing were only indicators of this skin, we’d think that her cheerfulness was gone. Skin comes with no new animations nor sound effects. Effectively, it’s just our siren dressed like a grandma.

6 .SKT T1 Nami
As a part of each League World Championship winners get to choose which skins are going to represent them. In 2016 it was SKT T1. Lead by Faker, they beat Samsung Galaxy and earned themselves their 3rd title. Wolf, support of SKT chose Nami as his skin. His signature can be seen during the recall animation. Aqua Prison (Q) briefly flashes SKT T1’s logo as well. These are the most significant animation updates. The skin is nothing special, but it is legacy meaning it’s available only sometimes, and has historical value so if you can try to get it.
5. River Spirit Nami
Number 5 on our best Nami skin tier list is River Spirit. It places Nami in her natural habitat, compared to our two previous picks, water. We see her wandering shallow parts of a river wearing distinctive colors. Mixture of rose, purple and green colors make her appear rather magical. On the greener parts of Summoner’s Rift she’s hard to spot. Her abilities are primarily green as well, giving you a slight edge over the opponents.
4. Program Nami
A cyber fish? Swimming through cyber waters? Not our cup of tea. Nami feels thematically off in this skin. Her elegancy and cheerfulness is gone which is further atoned by a new voice filter. The voice filter makes her and her abilities quite loud. It’s not something we expect from our loving siren. We can’t admit that her ability animations aren’t exciting, but the sound that follows them is slightly too loud. Her clothing feels more like an armor, rather than a beautiful costume that we’re used to. It comes in simple white color. Usual long hair is replaced with wires.

3. Deep Sea Nami
We’re finally away from scary modern day cyber fish. Now going back to the deep waters and her traditional colors. It is relatively similar to the River Spirit, but darker. When we say darker, we mean her whole demeanor gets darker. From her body, to her abilities, everything has a thick black layer around them. This might seem unorthodox to certain people, such as myself, which would be a huge issue if trying to play with it. Due to that I’d go for a River Spirit, but in case of a bad day, I’d prefer being dressed in darker colors to fit my mood which Deep Sea provides.
2. Cosmic Destiny Nami
Latest in the line of Nami skins gets our number two spot. Just like previously mentioned Program skin, she’s a victim of an unfamiliar theme. It seems like Riot is trying to make her appear as a villain. Once again, a new voice filter makes her and her abilities really loud. On top of that, she sounds scary. To me, that’s not what Nami is. We can see on her splash art that she’s swimming between planets and galaxies. There is not much distinction between her and the rest of the environment in it. Her dark purple scales are barely noticeable.
1. Splendid Staff Nami
And we reached the end of our list. Splendid Staff is definitely the best Nami skin in the game. Starting off with the splash art, Nami looks calm and peaceful. She’s placed in a beautiful scene with flowers around her. The first thing we notice are her blue eyes in a contrast to more bland whitish apparel. Her whole appearance seems charming. During the recall animation, we can even see her feet for a brief moment. This is not the end when it comes to new animations. Abilities splash flowers around the targets they hit. During her R animation, there is a dragon riding the waves. There are also several chromas available for this skin, in case you get bored with the same outfit.
